Who is responsible
Children of World Peace Initiative, a non-profit association in formation in Ebeltoft, Denmark, is the data controller. Contact: peace@childrenofworldpeace.org.
What we collect and why
- Peace School sign-ups: school name, town, country, age range, and the name, role and email of one adult contact person. We use this to welcome the school, send materials, show the school (not the contact person) on the world map and invite the school to activities.
- Emails you send us: the content and your contact details, to answer you.
- Children: we do not collect names, photos or other personal data about children through this website. Photos shared by schools are published only with consent and never with children's full names.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the movement and, where relevant, your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(a)). We keep contact data for as long as the school is a Peace School, and delete it within 12 months after it leaves.
Services this website uses
The website sets no cookies and uses no tracking. Fonts are hosted on our own server. To display the world map, your browser loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap and the map library from unpkg.com, which receive your IP address as part of the request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to us. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
